Paseo de Susana Park

Today, I’m introducing “Paseo de Susana Park” in Hagåtña. Many people call it “Paseo Park.”
This park was built on a peninsula using land filled with debris left after World War II.
The sea is right in front, and the cool breeze makes it a favorite place for locals to surf and fish.

It is located right behind the “Chamorro Village.”
If you park in the lot, you’ll find a deck facing the sea right in front of you.
You can also see a boat dock nearby.

Next to it, there is a wide lawn, and the park continues.
There is an object with the words “Hagåtña Guam,” so it’s a great spot for photos.
On the opposite side of the deck, you can see hotels in Tumon across Agana Bay.

This small Statue of Liberty was a gift from the American Boy Scouts in 1950, to celebrate their 40th anniversary.
It is made at 1/70th of the size of the Statue of Liberty in New York.

There are many trees, so there are plenty of shady spots to relax in the cool air.
It’s also a great place for children to run and play.

There are restrooms and showers here.
I saw people taking showers after surfing.
When I returned to the parking lot, there were also people fishing from the deck.

This is the largest baseball stadium in Guam, “Paseo Stadium.”

Right in front of Paseo Stadium is the parking lot for Chamorro Village.

This park is a great place to visit along with Chamorro Village. You can relax and enjoy the cool sea breeze.
