CDW / Collision Damage Waiver

CDW covers collisions between two vehicles only.
If the rental car is damaged in an accident, CDW covers repairs (up to $50,000) so you pay no more than the $1,000 deductible. Adding it is a good idea, just in case.

Zero Deductible Waiver (ZDW)

Waives the $1,000 CDW deductible. Available only with CDW.

Non Operation Charge Waiver (NOC)

Waives the Non-Operation Charge we bill after an accident to cover the time the car can't be rented ($250 if it can still be driven and rented, $400 if not).

Non Operation Charge

If the car needs repair or cleaning because of an accident, theft, damage or another problem that is not our fault, we charge the following to cover part of our lost income (waived with NOC):

The car can still be rented $250
The car cannot be rented $400

Accident Processing Fee

A $150 processing fee applies to every accident, regardless of fault.

What Insurance Does Not Cover

*Regardless of who is at fault

  1. Reckless driving, drunk driving, racing, or using a phone or other device while driving
  2. Damaged, cracked or broken windows
  3. Break-ins, theft of the car, vandalism, and items stolen from the car
  4. Damage caused by a driver not listed on the rental agreement
  5. Traffic tickets of any kind, plus our $100 service fee
  6. Any new damage, however small (a $150 service fee applies)
  7. Towing fee
  8. Leaving the scene of an accident
  9. Broken windows, break-ins and vandalism are not the rental company's responsibility
  10. Accidents not reported to the police right away at the scene
  11. Damage from earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons and other natural disasters
