Today, I want to introduce DAE JANG KEUM, a Korean restaurant in Harmon.
It is a popular place for Koreans living in Guam.
The restaurant has a lot of parking spaces.
In Guam, most places have free parking, which makes it easy to use a rental car.
Here is the inside of the restaurant.
There are more than 10 tables for four people, and there are also private booths separated by partitions along the walls.
We visited at 6 PM on Friday, but all the booths were already taken.
Here is the menu.
They have many Korean dishes, including BBQ where you can grill the meat yourself, as well as meals and snacks that go well with alcohol.
We ordered two servings of raw short ribs.
When you order, they set up a grill for you.
You get six kinds of side dishes, vegetables, garlic, green chili peppers, and ssamjang (fermented soybean paste) as a set.
If you want pa-jori (green onion salad), you will need to order it separately.
We also ordered miso soup and rice to go with the meat.
All the side dishes were really good, but I especially recommend the miso soup.
The service was great. They quickly refilled the side dishes during the meal.
The star of the meal, the raw short ribs, was tasty and had
no unpleasant smell.
I recommend DAE JANG KEUM RESTAURANT in Harmon!
