Using e-Rent A Car Guam comes down to three steps: book your car, prepare your documents and options, then complete the agreement at the office. The office operates 24 hours, but it does not provide pickup from Guam’s airport. Confirm your reservation time, payment card, and ground transportation before your flight.

Reserve through the official e-Rent A Car website or call 648-2886 from Guam. Enter your rental dates, vehicle class, drivers, and required options.
A 24-hour office does not mean that a reserved vehicle is held indefinitely. The current terms state that a vehicle may be released to another customer if the renter has not arrived within 30 minutes of the original reservation time. Contact the office if immigration, baggage delivery, or a delayed flight changes your arrival time.
Debit cards, prepaid cards, American Express, JCB, cash, and traveler’s checks are not accepted under the current terms. A $100 preauthorization is also placed on the card at departure. This is a temporary hold on available credit, not a normal payment transferred to the rental company.
Although drivers age 18 or older may rent, the current terms say proof of employment and financial stability must be provided. Contact the office before booking if this may apply to you.

Consider passengers, luggage, child restraints, and every person who will drive. Although A and B class vehicles seat five, the official guide states that three child seats cannot be fitted across their rear seats.

There is no pickup service from the airport to the rental office. Follow the signs from arrivals to the taxi stand and ask for the Tumon main office. The company’s current guide estimates the trip at about 1.8 miles (2.8 km), 10 minutes, and approximately $20, plus a suggested tip of about 10–15%. Actual time and fare may vary.
Under the current promotion, customers who arrive by taxi from the airport can present the receipt at check-in for a $15 discount on the rental charge. No receipt means no discount, and it cannot be combined with another discount. A complimentary consolidated shuttle to the airport is available after vehicle return.

Complimentary round-trip shuttle service is offered for Tumon hotels. Guests at Leopalace Resort connect at Guam Plaza Resort & Spa using the Leopalace shuttle, while Starts Guam Resort guests connect at Reef Hotel. Confirm the pickup time and meeting point with the office.
At the office, sign the agreement and inspect the vehicle with staff. The current terms instruct renters to photograph or record the vehicle and inspection sheet before leaving. Check existing damage, fuel level, warning lights, and any child restraint.
Yes. Under 16 GCA §3101(d), as amended by Public Law 38-85 (effective December 20, 2025), a person with a valid license from another U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth may drive for up to 90 days after arrival. Licenses from Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea remain valid for 30 days under §3101(c). Bring the original license and satisfy the rental company’s contract requirements.
The office operates 24 hours, but an unreported delay of more than 30 minutes may affect whether the reserved vehicle is held. Include the taxi transfer in your timing and contact the office if you will be late.
No airport pickup is provided. Take a taxi to the office. After you return the vehicle, a complimentary consolidated airport shuttle is available.
No. The current terms list Visa, Mastercard, Diners, Discover, and UnionPay and exclude cash, Amex, JCB, debit cards, and prepaid cards.
Choose a realistic reservation time, bring the correct license, identification, and accepted credit card, and arrange a taxi from the airport. The office is open 24 hours, but your car is not held indefinitely when you miss the reservation time. Keeping the taxi receipt and contacting the office during delays can make pickup much smoother.
